Print

We would like to inform you that Wednesday, 1 October Connexys Fast Forward will be updated to release 3.3.4. We will start with the deployment around 6PM (CEST). The application will remain available during this release.

1. New

1.1 New merge items

1.1.1 Date sendday
A new merge item has been added {date_sendday} to display the date as: 1 October 2014.

1.1.2 New merge items for a group proposal

When proposing candidates in a group, it sometimes was unclear for hiring managers which candidate applied for which vacancy. To display this better and more clear, we have developed three new merge items for this situation:

  • {vacaturenaam_nummer}: Shows a by comma separated list of the vacancy names including the vacancy number (if available)

Example: Mechanics Mechanical Maintenance, Financial Controller (193-001)

  • {vacaturenaam_standplaats}: Shows a by comma separated list of the vacancy names including the location (if available)

Example: Mechanics Mechanical Maintenance (Delfzijl), Financial Controller (Amersfoort)

  • {vacaturenaam_nummer_standplaats}: Shows a by comma separated list of the vacancy names including the vacancy number and location (if available)

Example: Mechanics Mechanical Maintenance (Delfzijl), Financial Controller (193-001, Amersfoort)

1.3 New fields available in Registrations report

1.3.1 Field ‘Vacancy type’
The field ‘Vacancy type’ has been added to the Registrations report. This field displays the reason for posting the vacancy, for example expansion, replacement or any other reason.

1.3.2 Field ‘Available by’
The field ‘Available by’ has been added to the Registrations report and displays the date filled out in the field ‘Available by’ in the registration of the candidate.

2. Improvements

2.1 Text in column disappears when merging documents to PDF

In Word documents, text is sometimes displayed in tables, frames and columns. When merging these documents to PDF, it sometimes happened that those type of texts weren’t displayed partly or entirely. This has mostly been solved. Mostly means that the text will be visible, but that the lay-out may not always correspond with the lay-out in the original document. We’re unfortunately not able to improve this further at this time, because we depend on an external supplier for the technique that is being used for this.

3. Solutions

3.1 To relate education levels and education subjects

In the master data ‘Education levels’ a relation can now be made with education subjects. When creating a relation between education levels and education subjects, it first wasn’t possible to choose an education subject. These weren’t displayed, but this has now been solved.
